With the incredible success of the Tao nightclub at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, the creators of this night-time hotspot are opening a spanking new Roman/Mediterranean style restaurant called Lavo which can be found in the Palazzo resort hotel. This innovative idea is designed after the Roman bathhouses of years past. A great deal of effort has gone into the historical accuracy of this nightclub/restaurant and into the tiny details as well.

This Las Vegas nightclub/restaurant can seat 300 people and includes a menu chock full of Mediterranean fare. Their menu is planned to promote the sharing of appetizers and small servings, as opposed to large one-person plates. The restaurant part also has an outdoor terrace which can hold 100 visitors and overlooks the notorious Las Vegas Strip.

The nightclub section has a state of the art audio and video set-up while live DJs will be on hand to keep the crowd entertained. The nightclub stays open six nights a week opening its doors at 10:00 pm and closing around 5 am. What the nightclub lacks is a VIP area, which the owners say is to have a more friendly ambiance.

Lavo always has lots of eye candy for the guests (especially the male guests). On hand is a model continuously bathing herself in the restaurant, female dancers, and other models acting out different historical scenarios. On the veranda, you will find a stash of hookahs with a “hookah master” helping you make the best choice.

This restaurant/nightclub is managed by the same group that inaugurated Tao nightclub in the Venetian Hotel Casino in 2005. Ever since the opening of this nightclub it has been one of the most popular clubs in Sin City, frequented mostly by Hollywood elite. Along with the Tao Asian Bistro and Tao Beach, these have been the biggest money-making destinations in the U.S. since 2006. This new space will definitely be a huge draw for The Palazzo Vegas. This space features 3000 luxury suites, posh shopping stores, and the finest restaurants and stores.
